Jaw cysts are rather common pathological conditions usually caused by untreated tooth decays. They have to be treated either surgically or by root canal traetment. They can be silent (asymptomatic) until they are discovered by routine dental radiographs.
Either lost single tooth or complete loss of the whole teeth, almost all missing teeth should be treated or restored by implant supported crowns, bridges or prostheses. Whole spectrum of dental implant treatment is delivered in our clinic both under local anesthesia or general anesthesia.
Bone deficiencies in the upper jaw may complicate implant installations. Thus some types of bone augmentations may be necessary in order to place implants in correct position. Sinus lift or Sinus floor augmentation is one the common bone augmentation procedures performed in our clinic.
In some instances, dimensions the jaw bones may not be sufficient for implant placement. Different types of bone augmentation applications may be required for these conditions. Bone grafts can be harvested from the other parts of the body or for some cases synthetic or or other types of bone grafts can be used.
All-on-4 treatments have become on of the best and reliable treatment alternatives for the rehabilitation of totally edentulous jaws with insufficient bone amounts. It provides swift delivery of fixed dentures without need of any kind of bone augmentation surgery. For most instances, the fixed denture can be delivered within same day of the surgery.
In cases where standard dental implant placement is not possible in the upper jaw with excessive bone loss, zygomatic (Cheekbone) implants have become very reliable and successful treatment options. With the use of zygomatic implants supported prostheses, fixed dentures can be delivered in a much shorter time without the need for large bone augmentation procedures.

Temporomandibular Disease (TMD) is a term that describes clinical problems involving the function of the masticatory muscles and the jaw joint. There are two distinct categories: masticatory muscle disorders and temporomandibularjoint disorders. The treatment of the TMD should be specific to each patient based on the type and degree of the patient’s disorder, the nonsurgical and surgical options, the experience of the surgeon and the needs of the patient.
Trauma-induced lower jaw (mandible) and upper jaw (maxilla) fractures are common types of fractures. The fracture line usually involves teeth and their surrounding structures. Their treatment often requires open surgical intervention. The general approach is to fix the broken segments to each other with plates and screws.
Different types of benign bone tumors involving the jaw bones and surrounding tissues may develop. The tumor may be of dental tissue origin (odontogenic) or non-odontogenic type. An accurate diagnosis and treatment planning is essential for successful treatment.
Orthodontic treatment alone is not sufficient for the treatment of some tooth or jaw-related problems and requires additional surgical interventions. This type of treatments include interventions such as exposure of impacted teeth for guided eruption, maxillary expansion operation (SARME) and orthognathic surgery.
As a result of excessive activation of the chewing muscles, mass increase and sensitivities will occur in the muscle tissue. The cause is usually clenching or bruxism. A treatment that can be applied in such cases is the injection of Botulinum toxin into the chewing muscle. The chewing muscles that are injected are often the Masseter and Temporal muscles.
